Reducing Anxiety and Dyspnea via Device-guided Breathing

In the WF-01213 study, lung cancer survivors identified through the NCI Community Oncology Research Program were randomized to undergo either 12 weeks of device-guided breathing intervention or usual breathing control device intervention in an attempt to improve self-reported anxiety and dyspnea. Researchers reported decreased anxiety and dyspnea in all groups, but found that making time to use the device was most difficult for patients.
